Championing Swimming in Papua New Guinea

PNG Swimming is the national governing body for the sport of swimming in Papua New Guinea. We are committed to developing the sport from the grassroots level through to elite international representation. Working closely with our three member clubs, we create opportunities for young swimmers to learn, grow, and compete in a safe and supportive environment.

Our role extends beyond athletes—we invest in the growth of coaches and technical officials, providing training and accreditation to ensure high standards across all levels of the sport. Through national championships, development meets, and international competitions, we showcase the talent of Papua New Guinea while building pathways for athletes to represent Team PNG on the world stage.

By partnering with schools, communities, World Aquatics, Oceania Aquatics, and the PNG Olympic Committee, PNG Swimming works to promote water safety, strengthen our clubs, and inspire the next generation to discover the joy and lifelong benefits of swimming.
